# Bonds

The bond token can be bought when the main token is under peg (TWAP is below 1.01 USDC). The proceeds from the bonds are used to do a buyback of the flagship token (LIT) to create a buying pressure and reclaim the peg. Once TWAP is back to peg, it can be reclaimed at a higher price.
